Shemekia to perform at the Across the Great Divide benefit concert

Shemekia Copeland will be part of an impressive array of musicians spanning multiple genres and generations (John Prine, Bob Weir, Lucinda Williams, Lee Ann Womack, Doyle Bramhall II, Larkin Poe, Joe Louis Walker, Tash Neal…) to perform at Across The Great Divide, a benefit concert for The Americana Music Association and The Blues Foundation on Friday, October 19 at the Ace Theatre in Los Angeles.

“For the first time ever, the Americana Music Association and the Blues Foundation will join forces to shine a light on the deep connectivity between the blues and Americana music,” announces the event’s promoters.

Tickets for the general public go on sale this Friday, August 24 at 9 AM Pacific Time.
