Shemekia Copeland’s albums and songs have always been influenced by social themes such as poverty, domestic violence and sexual harassment. With ‘America’s Child’ she takes it a step further –Black Lives Matter, Mee Too, showing the aversion of people to everything that is not normal. (…)
